AO4 Procurement Officer

About the Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a prominent, large-scale client to source a highly capable Procurement Officer (AO4 equivalent) to join their busy Cannon Hill office.

In this full-time, strictly on-site role, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team of purchasing, procurement, and contract management professionals. You will work closely with the Strategic Sourcing team and the Director of Procurement Strategy to deliver exceptional procurement and reporting services across a diverse portfolio of categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive purchasing, procurement, and reporting services to the wider business.
• Prepare and call both routine and complex tenders across a variety of categories, including construction, maintenance, consulting, and goods and services.
• Manage complex tender evaluations and ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Strategic Sourcing team and leadership with ongoing procurement strategy and reporting activities.
• Apply industry best practices in procurement and estimating to support medium and major contracts.

About You

While there are no mandatory qualifications required for this position, the successful candidate will be a driven procurement professional bringing the following highly desirable skills:

• Demonstrated expertise across the end-to-end procurement, purchasing, and contract management lifecycle.
• A strong focus on, and high capability in, data analysis and procurement reporting.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing complex tenders, particularly within construction, maintenance, or consulting sectors.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to support strategic objectives and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team.
• Strong awareness of current industry procurement and estimating practices.
